Lifestyle Tools for Immunometabolic Health: Reprogramming Cellular Pathways for Longevity and Healthspan
Course Description:
Chronic disease is increasingly understood as a result of disrupted immunometabolic function—where inflammation, metabolic imbalance, and cellular dysfunction converge. Immunometabolism, an emerging field at the nexus of systems biology and lifestyle medicine, offers powerful insights into how nutrition and other targeted interventions can restore balance, enhance resilience, and extend healthspan.
This thought-provoking course brings together leading voices in personalized medicine for a comprehensive, multi-layered exploration of immunometabolic health. Jeffrey Bland, PhD, founder of the Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute, opens the program with a foundational keynote on the science and promise of immunometabolic reprogramming. Austin Perlmutter, MD builds on this by addressing the clinical translation of immunometabolic research, particularly in the context of neuroinflammation and decision-making. In a joint session, Chris Magryta, MD and Erik Lundquist, MD present case-based strategies that link immunometabolic insights to real-world outcomes in integrative practice.
The program concludes with a 30-minute panel discussion that brings all speakers together for a dynamic conversation on clinical application, innovation, and the future of lifestyle medicine.
Whether you’re a clinician, educator, or researcher, this course delivers timely, evidence-based tools to elevate patient care and advance the field of personalized medicine.
