Clinical Updates in Menopausal Hormone Replacement Therapy: Optimizing Treatment and Hormone Monitoring
This webinar features expert presentations on Menopausal Hormone Replacement Therapy (MHRT) and hormone monitoring from Mark Newman, CEO of Precision Analytical, creators of the DUTCH Test, and Dr. Jaclyn Smeaton, ND and CMO of DUTCH. In Session 1, Dr. Smeaton will provide a clinically oriented overview of the latest research and guidelines for MHRT, with a focus on transdermal estradiol and oral progesterone. She will also highlight the advantages of dried urine testing for monitoring MHRT and discuss how estrogen metabolism can influence health risks. In Session 2, Mark Newman will address common myths about monitoring estradiol and progesterone, comparing the pros and cons of serum, dried urine, and saliva testing. This webinar will also introduce DUTCH’s new MHRT course (available to registered DUTCH Providers) and share findings from recent research, including the impact of 3’,3’-diindolylmethane (DIM) on estrogen metabolism in premenopausal women.

She specializes in commercial crossover areas including ownership of commercial growth in new product ventures, acquisitions, key strategic customer acquisition and nurture, association, academic and strategic partnerships, business development and marketing functions, ensuring a customer-first approach. Her portfolio includes education, technical writing, product design and innovation, and quality and regulatory practices in manufacturing of dietary supplements, foods, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and medical foods. Dr. Smeaton brings a uniquely diverse skill set and deep knowledge of the health technology and nutrition markets and a love of marketing and the customer experience.
