Wendy Warner, MD
Wendy Warner, MD, ABIHM is a holistic gynecologist, educator and writer. She earned her medical degree at the University of Tennessee at Memphis and completed her ob/gyn residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. She had a conventional obgyn private practice in suburban Philadelphia for 14 years, during which time she served as Chair of the ObGyn department at two different hospitals.
In 2004, she founded Medicine In Balance, a collaborative holistic medical practice with several different practitioners. There she provides general gynecologic care as well as holistic medical consultations for women, men and teens.
She has been on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine (ABIHM) for more than 10 years, serving as president two of those years. She has been on their teaching faculty since 2002. She has been an invited guest on the Doctor Oz Show where she spoke about Functional Medicine, and she is the co-author of Boosting Your Immunity for Dummies.
